The University of Texas at Austin (UT-Austin) was founded in 1883 and is the flagship campus of the University of Texas system. It is located in Austin, the capital of Texas, in the beautiful Texas capital Austin. It is a world-renowned top public research university and one of the first eight universities in the United States' most prestigious "Public Ivy League".


The University of Texas system is the second largest educational institution in the United States in terms of donations, with a cumulative total of more than $31 billion, second only to Harvard University.
